Our expertise and use of high-quality materials means that our print colours are independently verified to last between 100 and 200 years.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all unframed prints are despatched within 1–3 days.
Delivery to the UK, EU & US is free when you spend £75. Otherwise, delivery to the UK costs £5 for an unframed print of any size.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.

Portrait of John Kersey the elder (1616-1677)
Head and shoulders portrait of John Kersey, facing to the viewer's right and shown with long dark hair and a moustache. Dressed in a dark coat with a white lawn collar. In an oval framing device bearing the inscription: 'IOHN KERSEY BORNE AT BODICOT NEERE BANBURY IN THE COUNTY OF OXFORD AO. DNI. 1616.' Below, an inscription on a sculptured banner: 'Vox audita perit Litera scripta manet.' On either side of this, two open and two closed volumes, the former with mathematical content. Inscribed below: 'Soust pinx.1672. Faithorne Sculp.' John Kersey was not a Fellow of the Royal Society.
