Our expertise and use of high-quality materials means that our print colours are independently verified to last between 100 and 200 years.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all unframed prints are despatched within 1–3 days.
Delivery to the UK, EU & US is free when you spend £75. Otherwise, delivery to the UK costs £5 for an unframed print of any size.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.

Half length portrait of Lavoisier, extracted or a detail from the Portrait of Antoine-Laurent and Marie-Anne Lavoisier by Jacques Louis David, 1788. Lavoisier is shown at a cloth-covered table, in the act of writing with a quill pen. His posture is looking upwards to where (in the original) his wife stood; Marie-Anne Lavoisier has been omitted from this portrait. Inscribed above : 'David pinxt. W.C.Sharpe. LAVOISIER. WILLIAM MACKENZIE GLASGOW EDINBURGH LONDON & NEW YORK'. With a printed specimen signature of Lavoisier, lower right. Antoine Lavoisier was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1763.
