View of the Pallazzo Palimieri, Polla, Italy, viewed across the River Calore, foregrounding the approach by bridge. Inscribed in pencil verso "Polla". The card mount has an inscription in French below the photograph, "Palais Palmieri a Polla 176 (regardant le Nord-Est", "Nord" struck through. Annotated above "Note. The Buildings appear out of Level only through some Photographic error." A detailed description of earthquake damage to the building appears in Mallet's 1862 Report, vol.1 p.301-316. Collected by Robert Mallet.
