Our expertise and use of high-quality materials means that our print colours are independently verified to last between 100 and 200 years.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all unframed prints are despatched within 1–3 days.
Delivery to the UK, EU & US is free when you spend £75. Otherwise, delivery to the UK costs £5 for an unframed print of any size.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.

'Cuprum oxygenizatum'
Two specimens of cuprite, red copper oxide, here termed 'Cubical red oxide of copper'. Plate 100 from British mineralogy: or coloured figures intended to elucidate the mineralogy of Great Britain, by James Sowerby, volume 1 (London, R.Taylor & Co., 1804). The accompanying text states that 'Good cubical crystallizations of Red Oxide of Copper are much rarer than octaedrons...This specimen came from near Redruth in Cornwall. ' The plate is inscribed: 'Novr. 1 1804. Published by Jas. Sowerby, London.'
