Every framed picture is created by hand in our workshop by specialist framers.
Black, white, silver, gold or natural frames available, supplied ready to hang.
All our frames have a smooth satin finish, and measure 20mm (front face) by 23mm (depth from wall).

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 3 days.
Delivery to the UK, EU & US is free when you spend £75. Otherwise, delivery to the UK costs £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.

A balloon prospect from above the clouds
Cloudscape and view of the Earth with a line representing the flight path of the balloon from which the scene was taken. The illustration was captioned by the author: 'A Balloon-prospect from above the clouds or a chromatic view of the country between Chester , Warrington and Rixton-Moss in Lancashire: shewing the whole extent of the aerial voyage; with the meandering track of the balloon thro' the air Plate 3 from Airopaidia: containing the narrative of a balloon excusion from Chester...by Thomas Baldwin (J.Fletcher, Chester, 1786). Inscribed above: 'To face page 154 of Airopaidia'. Inscribed below: 'T.Baldwin Arm. delt. et pinx. Angus sculp. A BALLOON PROSPECT from ABOVE the CLOUDE see page IIIc. Publish'd May 1st 1786, by T.Baldwin Chester.' Thomas Baldwin made a pioneering flight from Chester on 8 September 1785 sketching the landscape as he travelled. The balloon belonged to the Italian aeronaut Vincenzo Lunardi (1759-1806).
