Cameramen under fire while filming in the First Balkan War, 1912. By 1912 cinemas were showing newsreels and war reporters were being accompanied by camera teams. This war was between the Balkan League (Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia and Montenegro) and the Turks (Ottoman Empire) and their repressive policies. From Le Petit Journal. (Paris, 3 November 1912).
